This striking Souvenir de l’Exposition 1988 handbag is a wonderfully unusual piece of vintage fashion, featuring a completely transparent design with elegant gold-tone fittings.

Condition

The bag is in good vintage condition, with a few minor imperfections which are reflected in the price.

There is a small 1.5cm blue mark along the side of the bag within the edging. This appears to be a manufacturing fault, as the edging is sealed around the mark. There is also a small 3mm mark to the centre of the handle and a minor scratch to the lower left of the bag.

These imperfections are visible in the photographs and do not detract from the overall appearance or unusual character of this vintage handbag.
