A beautiful vintage 1970s Georgshütte glass vase from Germany, featuring a distinctive textured relief design and sculptural clear-glass form.

The front of the vase has a smooth, softly curved shape, while the reverse features an unusual raised droplet-style texturethat catches the light and gives the glass wonderful depth. The contrast between the smooth and textured surfaces makes this a particularly interesting piece of mid-century German glass.

Made from substantial, heavy clear glass, this Georgshütte vase has a lovely quality and presence despite its compact size. The original Georgshütte maker’s label remains attached to the neck, helping to identify its German manufacture.
